Some of the Best SEO Tools Available… For Free!

SEO is one of the most powerful methods to deliver the high-quality and highly targeted traffic that will grow your business by leaps and bounds.

But as anyone who has dipped their toes into the SEO pool knows, the moving parts, to-do lists and metrics you need to stay on top of to dominate the SEO game are almost endless. If you tried to do it all by hand, you’d spend all of your time on busy work and never be able to make any true progress.

That is where SEO tools come in. A solid SEO tool suite will be your best friend and brother-in-arms during the online marketing war you’re waging against the competition.

If you’re looking to save time, get powerful insights and not spend a dime, then you need to check out AffiloTools.

AffiloTools: Your New SEO Best Friend

At Affilorama, we’re big believers in helping others achieve their goals, and that’s why we created this free set of SEO tools.

AffiloTools allows you to monitor in real time how your site is performing. But it’s just not all about SEO; it gives you a complete view of how your website is doing.

With AffiloTools you can:

  • Track keyword rankings.
  • Get an SEO checkup.
  • Monitor your traffic.
  • See revenue you’re generating from ClickBank.
  • Analyze your backlinks.
  • Keep tabs on your Facebook and Twitter presences.
  • Research keywords, domains and links.

Setting Up AffiloTools

Getting your account up and running couldn’t be easier. Simply create an account here and we walk you through the setup process.

You’ll enter your URL, keywords that you want to track and other information — and the system handles the rest! You can’t beat that for simplicity.

You’ll need to have a Google Analytics account and grant access to AffiloTools when prompted (to get traffic data) but the result is the most important traffic info in an easy-to-digest format. While GA isn’t necessarily difficult to use, it can be a bit time-consuming and cumbersome to use if you’re just looking for simple, top-level data.

Admin

At the top of the screen you can toggle between different sites you have loaded into the platform in case you are tracking more than one.

There is also an easy to use to-do function where you can set up tasks for yourself and others. On the free plan, you can only have one member working in the system. If you upgrade, you can have more and collaborate.

Messages in your inbox can also be found at the very top of your dashboard, helping you to keep up on the latest goings-on.

Dashboard

The main page of AffiloTools is chock full of online marketing goodies! This will be the default view when you open up the program and select a site/project you want to work on.

From here, you will be able to view stats and info on:

  • Traffic.
  • Sales.
  • SEO.
  • Health Check.

AffiloTools dashboard

These are just quick overviews to give you an idea of how your site is doing in those key areas. You can access more in-depth information on each section by clicking on the corresponding section in the left-hand menu.

Once you’ve gotten an idea of how your site is performing, it’s time to really dive into the data by going through each section.

Manage Keywords

In this section, you can add, delete and edit the keywords you have chosen to track for this site.

A really handy feature is being able to import your keywords from Google Analytics. This way you can easily keep tabs on what keywords are bringing in your traffic and spring into action if one suddenly drops off.

The number of keywords you are allowed to track depends on the plan you have selected. To learn more about the advantages of upgrading from the free plan, click here.

Health Check

Health Check breaks down how your site is performing from a technical standpoint.

You’ll get an overall score with an explanation and suggestions on what you can do to improve it. The system shows you what’s wrong, where the error is occurring, and how to fix it.

Traffic

This is the tool everyone's been waiting for, right? We want to know how our sites are doing and what pages are bringing home the bacon.

AffiloTools traffic

In addition to a handy graph of traffic results for the selected time period, you also get a breakdown of your site’s top content. The breakdown comes with:

  • URL.
  • Page Views.
  • Average Time on Site.
  • Bounce Rate.
  • Exit Rate.

Revenue

A big focus of the affiliate marketing training in our AffiloBlueprint system is using ClickBank’s gigantic catalog of information products and subscription services to monetize our websites.

This section of AffiloTools lets you see your sales and all of the relevant data you need to know how much money you’re making. No more logging into another website to dig for the data you need. Now, it’s right here in front of you!

SEO

This is actually two tools grouped under one section for easier use.

The first section is a rankings breakdown for your chosen keywords. You can:

  • Select between different search engines.
  • See the visits.
  • See the number of keywords that have changed.
  • Analyze a keyword-by-keyword breakdown if you really want to dig in even further.

The other sub section contains a thorough backlink analysis of the URL you specify. You aren’t limited to looking at just the homepage of your site; you can view inner pages that may need your attention as well.

The breakdown contains:

  • Page Rank.
  • Domain Authority.
  • Followed Links.
  • Total Backlinks.
  • Anchor Text breakdown.
  • IP Address breakdown.

Social

Much like the SEO section, the Social section of AffiloTools contains two sub categories: Facebook and Twitter.

In the Facebook section you can track your fan gathering efforts. You can also see how your fans break down by country, city and language to help your targeting efforts. You can also schedule future posts to make sure that you’ll always have fresh content even when you're too busy to log on yourself.

The Twitter tools are similar in that they allow you to schedule tweets to be drip fed later and make sure you’re never not churning out content. You can also keep tabs on who is mentioning you or using your keywords in tweets.

Research

The final menu section on our AffiloTools tour is the Research module. This bad boy is broken down into three areas that you can focus on depending on your research needs.

  1. Keywords: Here you can enter your root keywords and AffiloTools will go out and find related terms that may be worth targeting in future campaigns.
  2. Domains: If you’re looking for a domain that goes along with one of those fancy new keywords you just found, here is where you can find it.
  3. Links: If you’re in need of links to boost your site then it’s time to fire up this sub module. You can select the kind of link you are looking for and the keyword associated with it, and AffiloTools will spit out a list of places for you start looking.

I am a new member and I am assuming that Affilotools does the same job as Traffic Travis.

So should I NOT purchase the pro version of Traffic Travis in favor of using the Affilotools?

What if I do not want to continue with the 67$ membership, can I still use Affilotools, I assume not.

Will your company continue to update Traffic Travis or let it go in favor of the Affilotools?

Thanks

Hello emyers,

Yes, AffiloTools and Traffic Travis are similar programs. You can use AffiloTools for free even if you cancel monthly subscription to Premium. But like any free software there are fixed limitations compared to when using the paid version.

Cheers!

There needs to be more efforts in updating your material. When you update your software you need to update your Videos constantly. If you don't do this your new members get lost. Example, if the company updates keyword software then it needs to update the keywords video and so on. The dashboard on the video should match up with the members dashboard that they're working on. I hope this post finds its way to Mark and some action is taking soon.
Thank you.

Hi, Sean!

The problem with having a lot of content is making sure everything's up to date! We'll add this to our list of content to update and let you know personally when it's complete.
